It is difficult to track who has what company assets if you do not maintain any documentation.

Let us guide on how you can maintain to company assets inventory on Carbonate HR

Step 1

Click on the “Assets” from the left menu

Step 2

To create new inventory list, click on the “Add new item” button on the top right side of the page

Step 3

Type in the Item name, validity and number of units

Step 4

Once done, click on the “Save button to add the new inventory list

Step 5

You will be able to see the inventory list is created

Step 6

If you need to issue an item from the inventory to any employee, click on the number below the “Assigned” list.

Step 7

Select the employee name, type in the product ID number and assigned date.

Step 8

Click on Save.

Step 9

If you need to update an existing inventory, click on the update button at to top right

Step 10

You can update the total number of units, name of the product and the validity period.

In order to update the “Assigned” & “Left” you will need to assign it to an employee as described in the steps above.
