Syncing Carbonate HR app with Xero Accoutning
It is very simple and easy process. With a few clicks, you will be able to manage staff's payroll and will also hand it over to the accounting department.
Let's see how it works.
Login to Carbonate HR app with admin account and click on the Payroll
After clicking the connect button, a new page will load asking you to login to your Xero account.
After logging into Xero successfully, Click on “Allow Access” button and you will be taken back to Carbonate page. You will see Xero connected with Carbonate
Once you are back on Carbonate page, you will see the disconnect button at the top of the page.
Look for all the payslips you wish to sync with Xero. You may filter the payslips by company/entity, outlet, all the payslips at once or even one particular staff. Once you have filtered the data, select one, multiple or all the payslips.
You will see two options to sync the data,
- Individually Itemised
- Itemised Lumpsum
To verify if the was successfully synced with Xero, you may login to your Xero account and check if all the data is in Xero.
Click on “Business” in the main menu and then click on “Bills to pay”
You will see all data in Xero.
If you have synced individually itemised, you will see one entry for each staff for each payslip (in case more than one payslip)
If you have synced itemised lumpsum, you will see one file with all the types of payments. For example, you will see separate items for basic pay, overtime, CPF contribution etc.
