Company-wide Leave Set-up & Editing the Existing Leave Types

While setting up the company settings, you will need to create the leave types as per your company policies on Carbonate HR app.

It is one-time-setup, once you are done with the leaves setup, you are done for life. The system will automatically apply the rules for the next year and the years to come.

Here are the simple steps to create the new leave types

Step 1

Login to Carbonate HR app with admin account and click on the settings in the left bottom corner on the left side menu.

Step 2

Click on the "Leave" tab at the top of the page.

Step 3

To create a new leave type, click on the "+Add leave type" button shown at the bottom of the existing leave types.

Step 4

Fill in the form as per your company policies. Please note that in order to setup Ranks, you will need to do it in the company settings.

These ranks are useful when you have a same leave type used to allot different number of leaves to different staff. For example, top management may have 20 annual leave whereas the mid-management may have 18 annual leaves, so on and so forth.

Step 5

After filling up the form, click on the save button at the bottom of the form.

If you ever require to edit the leave type policies, just click on the exit button next to the leave type and start editing it. Once you are done with editing the policies, click on the save button at the bottom of the form.
