Attendance & Attendance Management For Managers and the Admins

Introduction

Want to know what is the flow of "Attendance and Attendance Management" on Carbonate HR app?
It is very easy to keep track of Attendance on Carbonate HR app. It is "One Touch" system and we have kept is simple. Let us show you how to Check-in & Check-out.

Step 1

Download Carbonate HR app from Google Play Store or from App Store

Step 2

Login to Carbonate HR app. using your "Username & Password" and tap on Log in. If you do not have login details, please check with your HR ro your reporting manager.

Step 3

The first thing you will see after you log in is to Check-in.
If you are not within the premises of your outlet, you will be prompted a message, informing you that you are not in the acceptable range to check-in.
Distance from your outlet will also be displayed on your screen.
Once you have checked in at work, your reporting manager will be notified of your check-in at work.

Step 4

After you finish your work and its time to call it a day, you will need to Check-out from work.
Again, if you are not within the premises of your outlet or workplace, you will be prompted a message, informing you that you are not in the acceptable range to check-in.

How to enable check in/out form webapp
Step 1

Login to Carbonate HR app with Admin or Manager rights and click on Settings on the left side menu.

Click on the Attendance at the top of the page.

Click on the Yes button next to "Do you want to allow checkin and checkout from browser?"

Step 1

Login to Carbonate HR app with your username and password.

Step 2

Click on the attendance on the left side menu.

To check in or out, click on the checkin/check out buttons on the right top corner of the page.

If you are shown a pop up to allow the browser to track your location, please click on the allow button.

Step 4

Select the outlet you wish to check in/out from. This option will be available if you are allowed to work from multiple outlets and click on submit button.

Attendance Management

Managing staff attendance is very simple and convenient. One simple click and you are done.

Step 1

Login to Carbonate HR app with Admin or Manager rights and click on Attendance on the left side menu.

If the check-in time is correct and the staff is supposed to work then click on the check sign else, click on the cross sign to reject the attendance.

Step 3

In case someone forgets to check-out from work, you will see a notification of Missed check outs.
Admins are allowed to Force check out the users in such cases blick clicking on the button as shown below which will open up a list of Missed check outs, select the time and date and click on Check out button in front of the user.

Step 4

If you wish to correct or amend staff's attendance, click on the button next to the approved attendance in the attendance history section of the attendance page.

By clicking on the edit button, you will see a form to update the record. Once you have updated the record, click on Save button.

Step 5:

If you want the attendance to be auto-approved, simply go to settings then click on Company at the top of the page, scroll down to Auto approved attendance and change it to Yes. By doing this, all the Check-ins & Check-outs of your staff will automatically be approved.
